DINOSAUR WORLD

Mom took the Rachel, Kayden and Olivia to see the dinosaurs in Cave City. She said that they had a really great time . They came home with fossils and dinosaur bones. Hopefully before long I will be able to take them back.
The pictures are a little hard to see, but when you are trying to fit a huge dinosaur in with three small kids it is a little difficult.

CLASS OF 1998 10 YEAR REUNION

Wow, has it really been 10 years? I can't beleive it. I really enjoyed getting together with old friends and hearing about how their lives have been. It's sad that we haven't kept in touch with eachother better, even though most of us still live right here in Edmonson county, some within a couple of miles from where I live. I loved seeing everyone that was there, but missed the ones that weren't. Hopefully we won't wait another 10 years to do it again.

TO REDEEM MYSELF

For those of you who think this is mean, it was actually Kaydens idea. She has laughed about it all evening. They are always wanting me to take pictures of them so I can blog it.

KAYDEN GOES TO THE DENTIST

I couldn't resist sharing a couple of pictures of Kayden after we got back from the dentist. She had to get a filling and her face was numb so when she smiled only half of her face worked. She thought it was so funny she just couldn't quit smiling at herself. Rachel said she looked like Popeye!! And of course she had to get in the picture too. They are both such hams..

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Its hard to believe my baby's are growing up so fast Rachel is in third grade and Kayden is in the big Kindergarten. They both did really well, and I thought I did to until I got home and got to thinking about how grown up they acted. No tears from them, they were ready to go. I guess that is a good thing that they are so independent. They came home with a good report, they both loved their teachers and had a great day. I am sure there will be more complaining once the homework starts.

BEECH BEND

The whole family got together and went to Beech Bend Park. It rained for a little bit when we first got there, but the weather finally cleared up and we got to enjoy the day. The girls had a great time. Kayden actually go brave enough to try some big rides this year, some she liked and some she did not. The log ride and the baby roller coaster were a big hit, the Moby Dick and the Wild Mouse not so much. Rachel was her usual dare devil self, she will ride anything at least once and most of the time loves them. She rode everything numerous times. Dustin Jessica Kayla and Austin came too. We don't get to see them as often as we should, but when we get together we always have a GREAT time. Once again it was hard to tell the difference between the adults and the kids, for some reason anytime we all get together this ends up happening. HA!!HA!! There is just something about spending time with family that can make any occasion special!!!! Any way here is a few pictures we managed to capture thanks to dear old mom who is trust worthy to always remember her camera unlike me.

CAMPING FUN

The family took our annual camping trip to Jelleystone Park in Cave City. We have been camping here since I was Rachel's age and it has become a pretty special tradition. We had the whole family up there including my dads brother Bud and his family, plus Joe and Kathy and their whole family. So it is pretty safe to say we had the camp site full. We had so much fun. I really didn't get to take a lot of picures since we were so busy, but here is a few.

Rachel coming down the water slide

As you can tell it was really hard to tell the difference between
the kids and the adults. Bj and Dustin had more fun on the slide
than Rachel and Kayla.

Kayden didn't care for the slide she was content to jump in
the pool over and over.

Rachel liked the pool too just not as much as the slide
